Seaweed cultivation at sea faces challenges related to adverse weather conditions, seasonality, waves, storms, germs and pollution, leading to unpredictable yield and inconsistent seaweed quality.
Therefore Seaweedland has developed a controlled on land seaweed cultivation technology in a continuous and scalable process, using a proprietary tank design with controlled hydrodynamics. Our innovative seaweed cultivation process includes the use of filtered well water and seawater, aeration, carbon dioxide supply, artificial lighting and a mechanical harvesting system to optimize yield.
