Role overview
Seaweedland is looking for an enthusiastic and structured Administration Manager to support both the financial administration of the organization and the project administration of our collaborative initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who combines administrative precision with a genuine interest in sustainability and seaweed cultivation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration
- Manage day-to-day financial administration
- Process invoices (incoming and outgoing)
- Monitor budgets and financial overviews
- Support financial reporting and documentation
- Liaise with external accountant/bookkeeper
Project Administration
- Manage administrative aspects of projects involving multiple stakeholders and partners
- Track project budgets, expenses, and funding requirements
- Maintain project documentation and reporting files
- Support preparation of financial and administrative reports for project partners and funders
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documentation
General Administration
- Maintain organized digital and financial records
- Support internal planning and coordination
- Assist in improving administrative processes
- Provide practical administrative support to the Seaweedland team
Profile we’re looking for
- Affinity with sustainable food systems, innovation, or seaweed cultivation
- Experience in financial and/or project administration
- Structured, accurate, and detail-oriented
- A true team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Energetic, positive-minded, and proactive
- Hands-on, practical, and solution-oriented (“can-do” mentality)
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, small-organization setting
- Good communication skills
- Living in or near Heerhugowaard is strongly preferred
